Snow

One of the best things about living in Vancouver is that the winters are mild and it rarely snows in the city. But if you want snow, just head up to one of the local mountains and in 20 minutes you are in 7 feet of snow. Or better yet, head up to Whistler. 

 And that's what we did with our visiting family, because they don't see snow, ever.

And boy did it snow!

 My aunt was thinking she would be fine in meshy runners.

  I eventually convinced her to wear my boots before we headed out the door.

 They had never seen anything like it.

It was great to see their reactions.
